Dr. Saraswathy is a Developmental Psychologist and the Founder & Director of Shine Child Therapy Centre (SCTC) and JoyBridge Therapy Hub Malaysia. With over 15 years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum, she has dedicated her career to empowering families through evidence-based intervention and compassionate care.
Her vision is to build a centre that not only provides early intervention and therapy, but transforms lives enabling children with autism and developmental challenges to reach their fullest potential while equipping parents with the knowledge and confidence to support their child’s journey.
Since founding SCTC in 2016 and JoyBridge Therapy Hub in 2026, Dr. Saraswathy has successfully built and led a multidisciplinary team of experienced therapists. Under her leadership, SCTC and JoyBridge has expanded to two locations — Seremban 2 (Headquarters) and Setia Alam (Branch) serving families across Negeri Sembilan and Selangor.
Prior to establishing SCTC and JoyBridge she served as President of Perwira My Autism Team (NGO), where she actively created and delivered autism awareness programs throughout Malaysia. Her advocacy work continues to focus on early intervention, parent empowerment, and inclusive education.
Dr. Saraswathy has some solid educational background, she possesses Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology – Child & Adolescent Development, Master of Education (Psychology), Advanced Diploma in Special Education Needs & Learning Disabilities, Certified Cognitive Behavioural Practitioner and a IBCCES Certified Autism Specialist.
Dr. Saraswathy currently provides assessment, parent coaching, and professional training for educators in Behaviour Management and Autism Intervention. Her work combines structured therapeutic strategies with deep empathy and understanding not only the child, but the family system as a whole.
